Weight Watchers is a company that specializes in loosing weight. It has been around for decades and keeps on going. They focus on calories, portion sizes and support. They provide menus and food guides to help you track how much you eat. They also have meetings and weigh-in's to log your progress and to provide emotional support. Staff works with you and develops a personal program.

The program allows pretty much any food but limits the portions. The scoring system used doesn't seem to encourage a balanced diet. It is basically based on calories and fat and then reduced by fiber. By reducing calories and exercising, you can loose weight. Just don't forget to focus on balancing your diet. Weight Watchers has been around a long time and has good results as long as you stay on the program. A strong exercise program also helps speed things along.
